The Strategic Outreach Ministries (SOM) goal is to reach our urban and global communities with the Great Commission Mandate,

And Jesus came came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Urban Missions

Kingdom Providers (Food and Clothing Pantry)

Hours of Operation:

Every Friday from 10:30 am-1:30 pm (with the exception of holidays).

Location of Distribution:

Behind the Executive Building (Next to the DMV)
5755 Poplar Hall Drive
Norfolk, VA 23502

Eligibility:

If you are a member of CRC or a resident of the City of Norfolk, please visit our food pantry every Friday between the hours of 10:30 am-1:30 pm. If you are from other surrounding cities (Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, etc), please click the Food Bank link to find your nearest food pantry and their hours of operation for assistance.

Kingdom Igniters (Community Outreach)

Door to Door Evangelism, Discipleship and Prayer Walks.

Meeting Times:

Every third Saturday of each month
from 10:00 am-12:00 pm.

Every Tuesday from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm

Ladies with a Mission (LWAM):
Every Tuesday from 4:30-6:00 pm

Meeting Times:

Every Monday from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm (different groups meet in various locations).
